The Aadrai Jungle Trek (often searched as Aadarai) is one of the most mysterious and beautiful forest hikes in the Western Ghats. Located near the Malshej Ghat region, this dense jungle trail takes you back in time through thick vegetation, towering trees, and hidden mountain streams.
The trek trail starts near Khireshwar / Nimbite village. The path is almost entirely shaded by dense jungle canopy. As you trek deeper, you will cross wooden logs over flowing water, climb over mossy boulders, and witness the spectacular Kalu Waterfall gorge view from the cliff edges. It is a true paradise for nature photographers and wildlife enthusiasts.
The Aadrai jungle is deep and has multiple crisscrossing forest paths where it is very easy to lose direction, especially in dense monsoon fog. Hiring a local guide is highly recommended for safety.
